Pest Control & COVID-19

Pest Control & Sanitation services are considered essential by the Department of Homeland Security. Ratchet Roach Pest Control is OPEN for business and enforcing compliance with CDC guidelines to ensure customer and employee safety. This will include social distancing, protective equipment, and sanitation of any surfaces that must be touched by our technicians.

A new course of action our team has been trained on includes the use of protective equipment and providing courtesy sanitation of any surfaces on the interior and exterior of your home or business that has been touched by a technician. These surfaces may include:

  • p1Doorknobs
  • p1Deadbolt Locks
  • p1Doorbell
  • p1Compartments used to open & close sliding glass doors
  • p1Countertops (Kitchen &/or Bathrooms)
  • p1Light Switches
  • p1Garage Door Handles & Buttons (If they were touched to access the inside/outside)
  • p1Desktops (If this surface was touched to implement a successful treatment)
  • p1Cabinet Handles (If this surface was touched to implement a successful treatment)
  • p1Sink Handles/Knobs (If this surface was touched to implement a successful treatment)
  • p1Bathtub Handles/Knobs (If this surface was touched to implement a successful treatment)

Our Jacksonville covid-19 sanitation service ensures our technicians take all necessary precautions. They will wear protective coverings on their shoes upon entering your home or business to ensure dust, dirt, debris, or germs are not brought inside. They will use a clear, residue and stain free antibacterial solution on the exterior of the points listed above along with a new cloth or paper towel. Please allow these points to “breathe,” without your contact with them for at least 5 minutes so that the solution used on them can work properly.

Floors, furniture, bed linens and clothing should not be manipulated, cleaned or washed for the first 24 hours of pest control service. The treatment provided needs time to work effectively. You may proceed in cleaning after the 24 hours have expired.
