Office Communications:
Due to staffing and the high level of service Ratchet Roach Pest Control strives to maintain, we will no longer be able to directly respond to text messages, hold text message conversations or make mass outbound calls to provide appointment reminders. To better service our customers, Ratchet Roach will be implementing text message reminders for upcoming appointments with automated reminders and ways to confirm appointments. We are revamping this system in response to those of you who expressed not receiving important documentation via email. We understand that these changes may not accommodate everyone. Please contact us with your concerns and we will seek ways to best accommodate you. If you have requests, inquiries or concerns, please set aside time to contact us. If we aren’t able to address you immediately, your communication will be returned at our earliest convenience.

Outstanding Invoices:
Effective April 24, 2023, any customers that have past due balances or precious record of a neglected invoice (balances unpaid for more than 30 days), the bill will be collected and once record is clear, we will no longer conduct services or sell product to that residential or commercial customer. 

Invoices not paid within 90 days from date of service performed, will be sent to collections and reported to the three credit bureaus. These collections may impact your credit score. If you wish to have the collections removed, please pay your account due and Ratchet Roach can provide a letter for proof of payment. Whether corrective actions are taken or not, Ratchet Roach Pest Control reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at ANY time. We strive to perform service of integrity and high value and are passionate about building relationships with customers that will do the same.

Service Agreements:
Also now effective, if you are a recurring customer, your service will auto renew. Service agreements will be binded to a one-year timeframe. If you are relocating, service will continue at the new home. If relocating outside of our service area, please provide a utility bill with new address. This will suffice for ending the one-year agreement, without penalty. 

Service Cancellation:
Following the full calendar year, should you choose to cancel service, this can be done in writing with an email to the Ratchet Roach administrative team or by physically providing written notice to a field technician following their last service. These notices cannot be accepted by a technician in lieu of a service we already have scheduled. In addition, please keep up with your scheduled payments and notify us of cancellation at least 10 days prior to the next payment authorization period (billing date). Should your account be debited, Ratchet Roach Pest Control will not authorize any refunds, however we will ensure automatic payment is cancelled prior to the next payment period and service date.

Terms and Conditions:
All correspondence & offers made by the appointment setter in office & field technicians are recorded; this includes phone calls, text messages and e-mails. 
General Household Pest Treatment does not include: gnats, fruit flies, fleas/ticks, rodents, bed bugs, mosquitoes or termites.

50% Deposit will be due prior to scheduling work for any home repair and rodent exclusion requests. 

All pest treatments are not hypoallergenic. We require appointment setters to ask & encourage our customers to advise their appointment setter and/or service technician of any concerns prior to treatment. 

Each field technician is required to inspect problematic areas thoroughly upon initial treatment and keep record of issues, the customary program built for that particular customer & preventative measures. Photos may be taken of the exterior and interior parts of the home for reporting purposes.

Please allow time for our treatment to work effectively. At this time, Ratchet Roach Pest Control does not have an overnight remedy for pests. We ask that you allow 2-3 weeks to allow our methods to work effectively and help us operate safely based on federal, state and city regulations.

Please not use over-the-counter (OTC) pest control products, solutions, traps, or baiting systems after treatment has been performed by our technicians. Please also ensure work conducted is not tampered with by yourself, pets, visitors or children.

Same Day Appointments & Emergency Requests
Appointments made for same day service and emergency requests must be authorized by an appointment setter and have a security deposit paid before 2:00 pm, current day. Additionally, this applies to weekend requests.

Appointment Cancellations
Same day appointments must cancel at lease 1 hour prior to scheduled appointment time. Next day, next week, next month appointments must cancel at least 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment. If these rules are not followed, customer’s card is required before scheduling service again & will be charged $50.00 to secure a new appointment due to prior scheduling inconvenience.

If customer is not willing to provide valid card information, an appointment cannot be scheduled. If $50.00 is authorized to be charged to secure next booking, this will go towards customer’s requested service. If appointment is cancelled for the second time, the $50.00 deposit will be retained by Ratchet Roach Pest Control and we reserve the right to permanently ban customer from future services. 

If service is declined by customer during assessment, deposit will be retained by Ratchet Roach for their time and efforts in diagnosing best treatment and preventative measures for pest issues.

 

Discounts
Ratchet Roach Pest Control loves and honors their veterans, active duty personnel and hometown heroes. We proudly offer discounts to them.

We offer referral perks to individuals that refer any new customers to our company that result in new service! A discount will be applied to their upcoming services.
 
Pricing
Our pricing is market based and is determined by multiple factors, not limited to: square footage of home (we consider the interior AND exterior of multi-family units, single-family homes and commercial buildings), level of infestation, methods of treatment that will yield the best results and materials.
 
The “RR Promise”
We take full accountability for our work & pride ourselves on NOT making recommendations for unnecessary treatments. We cannot guarantee results with a one-time treatment. Our service technicians will conduct a thorough assessment and build a customized plan based on each home and situation encountered. Should our customers not receive the results needed, following the initial treatment there will be a series of visits every 2-3 weeks in addition to a maintenance schedule. If a series of visits are recommended & quoted by the technician as a part of your plan, please consider it. Should you decide to not proceed with it & additional visits are necessary, callback fees will be charged and depending on the amount of time that has lapsed since the initial treatment, initial treatment costs may apply.

If you do not follow specific instruction to prepare property for an analysis or treatment, the technician cannot and will not service your home. If he reports to the home and cannot complete treatment a $30.00 charge will be assessed, in addition to the cost of service.

If an inspection requires specific instruction to prevent re-infestation after treatment, directions must be followed precisely. Should you not, please understand that another “initial property assessment” and charge may be necessary.
